We’ll Pay Your Gas! Cottage Rental Promotion

If gas prices have put you off a spring cottage rental break – start thinking about it again because we’re going to pay for your gas. Book a week, weekend, or mid-week break in our selected cottages, and we’ll send you a $50 gas card. This means you can enjoy cottage country without worrying about adding on the price of getting there.

Here’s a couple of examples:

seabreeze_hottubview Sea Breeze on Lake Ontario accepts pets, has a hot tub, and a fabulous outlook on Lake Ontario. Less than 2 hours from the city so you’ll have plenty of free gas to explore the beautiful Northumberland area.

squirrels_ext_flowersSquirrel’s Leap or Chalet Tranquilite near Mt Tremblant in Quebec are both   great locations for a short gas-paid break from Ottawa. Enjoy the beautiful Laurentians before the summer crowds arrive. Choose from a gorgeous log cabin for two with awesome views of Tremblant and easy access to Parc du Tremblant, or a wooded location near to Lac E’querre.

Cottage Rental Still Great Value Despite Rising Gas Prices

As gas prices rise once again and the current weather offers us the glimpse of a summer to come, how many people are wondering if they can escape the heat of the city to a cool lake, sunsets and camp fires, if fuel costs continue the upward spiral?

It is easy to think in one-dimensional terms and simply calculate the cost of travel to and from the cottage, and perhaps dismiss the idea as too expensive, without taking a more lateral view. Craig White of CottageLINK has given this a lot of thought and his Commentary puts this in perspective. His view that renting a cottage remains terrific value as a family vacation despite the rise in some costs, has a lot of merit.

Watch out for our Fuel Card Promotion that starts next week. In certain cottages, renters will be offered a fuel card worth up to $100 when booking selected cottages for a July or August rental, between the 10th and 28th June. I’ll be announcing this here so keep checking, or even better subscribe to the RSS feed and get the announcement delivered to your inbox.
