There’s a great sense of anticipation in the office as we begin planning our cottage viewing trips for the next few weeks. There’s around 30 new Ontario cottages for rent to be listed and we have to view them all, which is the best job in the world.
Our standards are high so we have to make sure each property meets the criteria we set and will be ready for rental by mid-June. We are looking for spotlessly clean properties with comfortable beds, attractive furnishings and the general ambience that makes an Ontario cottage vacation so very special. Not every cottage will be accepted as we are on the search for the very best.
The ones we have already seen include a seven bedroom luxury home on Sturgeon Lake; a gorgeous cottage on Lake Simcoe with a hot tub; a 3 bedroom cottage on Six Mile Lake with a guest cabin and outstanding waterfront; and a spectacular newly built log home near Bancroft.
