More Sandy Beaches!

Here’s a few more of our wonderful cottages with that ‘must have’ feature on the property or nearby. Don’t forget that you can still find a well priced cottage rental featuring a sandy beach, if you are willing to walk a few minutes to a shared beach. This is great for families with children looking for new friends to play with.

Gloriously named, A Whisper in Time, is located in Howdenvale Bay on the Bruce Peninsula. Featuring an original stone fireplace and exposed logs and beams, this 1920’s charmer is a delight for children as the sandy beach leads to the warm shallow water that stretches out to the islands and beyond. The sheltered bay offers calm waters for using the canoe that comes with the cottage. The cottage is pet friendly too!

The Beach House, again aptly named, is right on the sands of Georgian Bay at LaFontaine. This is truly a beach vacation as you can simply step off the deck onto the beach, stroll to the water or light your campfire on the shore at night and marvel at the stars. The three bedroom cottage is neat and comfortable too and will also accept a well behaved dog.

A little further along Georgian Bay at Penetanguishene is Sawlog Serenity. This cottage in a park-like location overlooks Penetanguishene Bay and shares a great sandy beach with a few other cottages. This gives the benefit of having a wide stretch of sand to play on with great views over the bay.

In an eastern Ontario location on delightful Kennebec Lake, you’ll find possibly one of the most private beaches we can offer. Kennebecport is a cosy and comfortable cottage set in woodland with a winding lane to it’s picture perfect sandy beach. Privacy like this is pretty hard to find so it’s no wonder this is such a popular cottage in our portfolio. Kids of all ages will love this as there’s also a swim platform for the older ones

Camperdown has been one of our most popular cottages for several years. The short walk to the beach is amply made up for by the ambience of this cottage and its location near to Georgian Peaks. Previous guests have enjoyed the proximity to plenty of Georgian Bay attractions including Blue Mountain, Wasaga Beach and the attractive towns of Meaford and Thornbury.
